Bookings made at this property are made under the followings terms:
1. The Contract
This contract is for the short-term holiday rental of Clare Park between the Owner (Mr and Mrs G Langworthy) and the Guest, who must be eighteen years of age or older and responsible for all members of his or her party. By completing the reservation, paying the deposit and the booking being accepted by the Owner, the Guest is entering into a contract with the Owner and is agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions.
2. Booking and paying for your Stay
Bookings are accepted at the discretion of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to refuse a booking and all bookings shall only be effective and form a contract when payment of the deposit has been made and the booking accepted in writing by email. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost of your holiday is required to confirm the booking. The balance is due to be paid 8 weeks before the arrival date. If the balance is not paid at least 8 weeks before arrival this will be deemed to be a cancellation of the booking and the cancellation terms below will apply. If the booking is made 8 weeks or less before the date of arrival, the total balance of the holiday is to be paid at the time of booking.
Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer.
3. Cancellation
In the event of cancellation every endeavour will be made to re-let Clare Park for the period cancelled and if a re-let is achieved all money already paid will be refunded minus a £25 administration fee. If a re-let is not achieved there will be no refund due and additionally any outstanding balance will be deemed as due to be paid.
We recommend that holiday insurance is purchased to cover the possibility of cancellation or non arrival for any reason.
4. Breakages and Damages
Please inform us of any damage or breakages occurring during rental of Clare Park. We reserve the right to charge full payment for replacement or repair for such damages or breakages. Minor breakages may not be charged for as we appreciate that accidents happen, but please inform us of any such breakages to enable us to replace items for subsequent guests. We ask for a returnable damage deposit which will be payable at the time of payment of the balance.
5. Guest Responsibilities
You are responsible for the correct behaviour of all your party and guests, including your visitors to Clare Park who are not staying in the property at the time. Only those guests who have been named on the booking form are permitted to sleep in the property. Extra guests are not permitted to stay without prior approval.
You are responsible for the property during the whole rental period and are expected to take reasonable care of it. It will be clean when you arrive and you are expected to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay. The damage deposit will be retained until inspection of the property following your stay and money will be deducted to pay for any breakages or additional cleaning that is required.
You are responsible for ensuring that all external doors are locked and windows shut when the property is empty during the rental period and failure to do so may make you liable for loss or theft from the property.
